Graphic Publications, Incorporated was founded in 1973 by Abe and Fran Mast, in Berlin, Ohio, when they began publishing The Bargain Hunter, a free shopper newspaper that was distributed to 7,500 homes in Holmes County. Over the years, The Bargain Hunter has evolved into a weekly community newspaper, and serves as Holmes County’s primary source for advertising and information regarding local news and events.

The company is now owned and operated by Abe and Fran’s three sons, David, John and Michael. Having literally grown up in the business, these three brothers bring keen insight and an interesting philosophy to the publishing industry. They believe that in saturating the market by mailing a unique, quality product to every home, they can offer their clients the absolute greatest value for their advertising investment.

This philosophy has served them well over the years as they have grown an organization of four people into a regional publishing leader, with more than fifty employees, an ever expanding newspaper network currently reaching more than 300,000 homes with every issue, and offices in Millersburg, Dover, Wooster, Brunswick, and Fairlawn.
